Apex Legends Freezing, Lagging, Rubber-banding with Killer Adapters

This solution only applies to computers with Killer Networking Adapters installed. To see which networking adapter your machine uses, right-click Start, click Device Manager, then double-click Network Adapters. If you do not have a network adapter with the “Killer” name in it, your machine does not use the Killer Control Center, which means this is not the cause of your issue.

Some users have indicated problems with the Apex Legends game when using the Killer Control Center. Disabling Advanced Stream Detect will sometimes solve this problem, but will also disable the Killer Control Center’s latency-reducing features.

We have confirmed that Apex Legends does not experience these issues with the current version of the Killer Control Center. We suggest clean-installing the latest version of the Killer Control Center to resolve this issue.

If you are still experiencing problems after installing the latest Killer Control Center, try resetting your network stack and networking devices. Click here for our guide for resetting your network stack and networking devices.
