Killer Control Center Showing Older Version

Some users have reported that the Killer Control Center seems to be showing an older version when installed.

The Killer Control Center currently has two different interface versions with each release.

Those machines using a Killer Wireless-AC 1550 or E3000 will see Killer Control Center version 2.x.xxxx.

Those machines using a Killer Wireless 1525, 1435, 1535, E2200, E2400, or E2500 will see Killer Control Center version 1.x.xxxx.

This difference is not a bug or error. The Killer Network Service, which is what does the work of prioritizing packets for reduced latency, is the same with both interface versions. Only the user interface is different.

You can see the exact version of the Killer Control Center that is expected to be installed with each package in the release notes for that package.
