KILLER INTELLIGENCE ENGINE

The top section shows the current status of the Killer product.
1 check = No Killer Adapter Connected
2 checks = Advanced Stream Detect Disabled
3 checks = Bandwidth Not Set
4 checks = Recommended Actions exist
5 checks = Fully Optimized

Clicking on this section will show a list of Recommended Actions including suggestions on how to improve network performance if the Killer Intelligence Engine detects a networking issue.

The bottom section shows the number of optimizations performed by Killer. Clicking on this section will show the specific optimizations made by Killer to improve your experience.

 

BANDWIDTH USAGE SPEEDOMETERS

The speedometers show the Download and Upload traffic being used.

 

SELECT NETWORK DROPDOWN

If you are connected to multiple networks, this dropdown allows you to select the network displayed on the speedometers.

 

APPLICATION CATEGORIES

Every application and domain that Killer detects is automatically put into one of six categories, prioritized by importance.

  1. Games
  2. Real Time: VOIP applications, etc
  3. Streaming: video streaming
  4. WWW: normal web traffic
  5. Web Downloads
  6. Downloads
  7. User Defined: This appears if you have changed the default priority of any item in the ‘APPS’ page. This category is not movable and tracks the traffic associated with user prioritized applications.

 

CHANGE PRIORITY

You can change the priority of each category by using the arrows to the left of each row. (Does not apply to User Defined Category)

 

BANDWIDTH BY CATEGORY GRAPH

Shows the real-time bandwidth usage of all applications in that category. The total upload and download are shown to the right of the graph.
